The Inside Scoop
We built this halogen lamp to be the perfect swap-in for your process heating setup. It’s 370mm long, runs on 220V, and packs a 650W punch. That power rating isn’t random. It’s a direct match for standard industrial power circuits, so you get serious heat without overloading your system. And the length? It gives you the right amount of focused heat for jobs like sealing, curing, or preheating, without making you rethink your whole machine.
What It’s Made Of
The whole thing is wrapped in a quartz envelope, because it can handle the extreme heat and keeps the internal halogen cycle doing its thing. That cycle is key—it keeps the filament clean and the output steady over time. Because it’s a halogen lamp, the filament can run hotter than a regular incandescent, which means you get more intense heat from a compact tube. And it uses an R7s base, so you can just pop it into the socket you already have. No fuss.
What It Feels Like to Use
Here’s the real payoff: you get a ton of heat in a small space. That means shorter cycle times and better control over your process. But—and this is important—it runs hot. So you need to make sure the fixture and anything nearby can handle the temperature. Sometimes you’ll need a little airflow or a shield to keep things safe. For engineers, the whole package makes sense. Standard voltage, a set length, and proven halogen tech mean replacements are predictable. When the machine needs to keep running, you want a part you can trust to just work.
