The tube length is typically around 300mm, which gives you a clear heating footprint. That makes it easier to match the lamp to the exact zone you need to heat, without building a bigger machine than necessary.
Built to Handle the Heat
The envelope is quartz, because it stays stable at high temperatures and lets infrared energy pass through cleanly. Inside, the halogen cycle keeps the filament stable by preventing tungsten buildup. That means less blackening over time, and more consistent output. A shortwave coating pushes the output toward fast, efficient infrared transfer, so the energy hits your target and gets straight to work. And when it comes to connectors, we choose what works in the real world. R7s and Sk15 ends give you solid mechanical retention and reliable electrical contact. That also makes maintenance easier—when it’s time to replace the lamp, it’s a straightforward drop-in.
