If you’re running a Cefla line, you know the drill. You need that mirror-smooth, high-gloss finish on your flooring, and that all comes down to one thing: heat. If the thermal energy isn’t exactly right, the whole batch is ruined. We make drop-in replacement IR lamps that do exactly what the OEM parts do, but they cost you less per square meter. Simple as that. The secret to avoiding “orange peel” To get a surface that actually looks like a mirror, you need a specific kind of heat flux. Our lamps are built to hit the exact wattage and voltage your Cefla modules expect. When you push high wattage through a short-wave quartz tube, the heat hits instantly. This gives the coating a chance to flow and level out before it hardens. If your voltage dips or the wattage is slightly off, you end up with that annoying “orange peel” texture. We calibrate our filaments specifically to stop those hot spots from happening. Built to take a beating These lamps live in a brutal environment. They’re constantly cycling on and off, which creates massive thermal shock. To handle that, we use high-purity quartz glass. Inside, there’s a halogen cycle that keeps the tungsten filament from evaporating too fast. It basically makes the lamp last longer. We also add a special coating to the tube for certain Cefla jobs. This tweaks the heat so it sinks deep into the coating rather than just scorching the top layer. A few things to keep in mind Swapping these in is easy. They use standard connectors, so you can just wire them up and go without messing around with the Cefla housing. But here’s the thing: if you crank up the heat density to speed up your line and get more gloss, your cooling fans have to work harder. Just make sure your exhaust system is actually pulling that ambient heat away from the reflectors. If the heat builds up too much, you’ll burn through your tubes way faster than you should.
