We built these 700mm halogen lamps for exactly that—when you need heat, and you need it now. At 220V and 1600W, these aren’t your average bulbs. They’re designed to slide right into your existing ovens and just work. Why the halogen matters Here’s the secret: we put halogen gas inside the quartz envelope. This lets the filament run much hotter than a standard IR lamp. Because it’s hotter, the heat behaves differently. It shifts to shorter wavelengths, which means the heat doesn’t just sit on the surface—it punches deeper into your materials, and it does it fast. Your ramp-up time drops, your cycle time shrinks, and your production line actually moves. A few things to watch out for Now, look. Quartz glass is great for heat, but it’s brittle. We’ve spent a lot of time on the end-cap seals because if that halogen gas leaks, the filament will pop almost instantly. It’s a total pain. To avoid that, just make sure your mounting clips aren’t squeezing the glass too hard. Give it some breathing room. And a heads-up on the heat: with 1600W packed into 700mm, the center of the tube gets incredibly hot. If your airflow is off or your reflectors are crooked, you’re going to get hot spots. Plus, don’t forget your cooling fans. If the air around the sockets gets too toasted, your wiring will melt. Not a good look.
